Labor of Love Garden Day @ the HRCC Garden

Get ready to dig deep and grow together at our Labor of Love Garden Day!

Join us May 1 from 11am to 4pm at the Hope Reigns Community Collective Garden for a day of purposeful work and joyful fellowship. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a curious beginner, we’re coming together to prep our beds, set up irrigation, and breathe life into our shared space.

It’s a day of action, vision, and connection. Come for the work, stay for the lemonade and snacks, and leave with a heart full of hope (and maybe a plant of your own!).

Help us cultivate a space of beauty and provision for our community!

Get Your Hands Dirty

  • Bed Prep: Help us weed, compost, and mulch for a healthy season.

  • Water Systems: Assist in setting up our irrigation and watering stations.

  • Garden Tours: Join an informal walk-through to see what’s growing.

Fun for the Little Gardeners

  • Seed Planting: Kids can plant seeds in cups to take home and watch grow.

  • Adopt-a-Plant: A special activity for children to bond with nature.

Support the Vision

  • Garden Info: Learn about our farm stand, garden shares, and volunteer roles.

  • Giving Station: On-site donation box and QR codes to support our growth.

  • Exclusive Merch: Be the first to grab our "Early Bird" merchandise pre-order sale!

Community & Refreshments

  • Sips & Snacks: Enjoy cold lemonade, water, and potluck treats* with neighbors.

  • Volunteer Sign-ups: Find your place in our collective mission.

*HRCC will provide hot dogs, buns and condiments. Please bring a side or treat to share (that doesn’t require refrigeration and can be enjoyed outside with our, potentially soil covered, hands).

To ensure we have enough hotdogs for everyone, please RSVP via text to either 661-317-2591 or 818-554-4319. (Please come even if you forget or don’t have an opportunity to RSVP!)

Come grow something good—with your hands and your neighbors.

Become A Volunteer
