Help Us Grow Food Security in Basin & Big Horn County

In the heart of Wyoming’s farming and ranching country, many of our neighbors still live in a food desert. While we are surrounded by vast lands, access to fresh, affordable produce remains a challenge for many families in Basin and across Big Horn County.

The Hope Reigns Community Collective is changing thatβ€”but we can’t grow without you.

Why Your Donation Stays Local

Your support provides more than just seeds; it builds a resilient food system for our rural community. When you give, you are directly funding:

  • Farm Stand Access: Keeping fresh vegetables affordable for every household in the county seat.

  • Garden Shares: Providing harvest boxes to local families facing food insecurity.

  • Sustainable Infrastructure: Investing in irrigation and soil health adapted for our unique Wyoming climate.

  • Hands-On Education: Teaching the next generation of Basin growers how to cultivate the land.

Our Positive Impact

"Being able to purchase delicious, local, healthy produce at a price I can actually afford has helped me change how I eat and how I take care of myself. Not having a set price allows me to continue eating healthy, even when I midhgt not have much moneyβ€”without turning it into a handout. The motto, β€˜Take what you need, Give what you can,’ allows me to keep my dignity which encourages me even further to keep pursuing a healthier diet and lifestyle. Thank you Hope Reigns garden."

Currently however, all donations support the day-to-day activities of the community food garden and farm stand.
